Ring Compounds

In an earlier lesson we talked about some ring compounds in which the ring itself contained just carbon atoms. Carbon is not the only element that can be bonded into a ring. In this section we will look at some heterocyclic compounds, in which atoms other than carbon are a part of the ring. We will also look at polycyclic compounds, which contain more than one ring, and briefly review aromatic compounds.
