Lab WorkIf you are in the lab, this might be a good time for you to do Part I of the Experiment for this lesson, since we are finished with the reactions of carboxylic acids. If you prefer, or if you are not in the lab, you can wait until we are finished with carboxylate ions and some other related compounds. In any event, when you do Part I of the lab work, you will work with the physical properties, solubility, nomenclature, reactions of and lab tests for carboxylic acids.
