Lab Tests
In addition to IR spectra, you can use the results of lab tests such as those which you performed in the laboratory portion of this lesson to help identify compounds. Be sure to take the time to summarize the results of those tests by filling in the table in Part IV of the experiment in your workbook. You will be using this information in Lesson 5 to help identify some unknowns, so you should also record that information in the similar table in Lesson 5 in your workbook.
