Alcohols
The first class of compounds that we will deal with in this lesson are the alcohols. In part, this is because all of the other oxyorganic compounds that we deal with can be derived from the alcohols. We will, of course, look at the structure, properties, nomenclature, classification, formation and reactions of alcohols.
